Partnering with local groups to help the homeless:

When the pandemic hit, RBC Place London developed a partnership with London Food Bank to prepare meals for individuals in the community experiencing homelessness. London Food Bank funds the meals, RBC Place London prepares them, and 519Pursuit delivers the meals to the community.

Since 2020, the culinary team at RBC Place London has prepared more than 110,000 meals for this program helping to support hundreds of homeless Londoners and those experiencing extreme poverty, who are struggling to survive while facing systemic exclusion and discrimination. We continue this partnership today.

Donating extra food items and diverting food waste:

We are happy to donate extra food items to Mission Services. Any food items determined by the Executive Chef or Sous Chef to be of good quality are packaged by RBC Place London staff and sent to Mission Services. In 2023, we donated 4,860 meals and prevented fresh and healthy food items from going to waste.

330lbs of canned goods was donated to the London Food Bank as part of the Business Care Food Drive in 2023. Canned goods are donated and collected by our staff during the year, which in turn are donated to the London Food Bank. The staff also donated $410.00 to the London Food Bank.

RBC Place London illuminates the exterior of the building in different colours to show support for various different causes. If you are interested in lighting up the building for your cause, please email us.

In 2019, RBC Place London was honoured to be able to participate in Habitat for Humanity Corporate Build Days. Members of the RBC Place London team spent 3 days working on 36 and 38 Forbes Street in London.

With the help and generosity from RBC Place London staff, friends, family and industry peers, we were able to raise $6,125 for Habitat for Humanity Heartland Ontario.
