The Encore Terrace Summer Series returns for 2026 with a lineup of relaxed, outdoor lunchtime events in the heart of downtown London. Taking place on select Fridays, each event brings a unique mix of live music, local food vendors, and community partners in a casual, welcoming setting.

Whether you’re stepping out on your lunch break or planning to stay awhile, the terrace offers a chance to connect, explore, and enjoy the season.

Admission is free and all are welcome.

What to Expect This Summer

Each event in the Encore Terrace Summer Series brings something a little different.

From live music and DJ sets to interactive art activations and community showcases, the terrace evolves throughout the season with new experiences to discover.

Opening Event: June 12

Our first event of the season with feature Murals in Motion, paired with an art unveiling earlier in the day in partnership with local artists and community organizations. For details about the art unveiling click here. 

June 12 - Murals in Motion

Join us for a one-of-a-kind summer event as four local artists transform blank canvases into vibrant murals live and in real time. Watch their creativity unfold while you enjoy lunch from local food vendors, refreshing drinks from our licensed bar, and summer beats from our guest DJ.

Whether you're downtown on your lunch break or looking for something new to experience, this is a perfect midday creative escape.

Eliza Gallaiford

Eliza Gallaiford is a visual artist participating in Murals in Motion as part of the Encore Terrace Summer Series

An emerging visual artist based in London, Ontario, Eliza is currently completing a Bachelor of Fine Arts with an Honours Specialization in Studio Art at Western University, where her work has been exhibited in multiple juried exhibitions and recognized with several awards.
Working across sculpture, printmaking, and material-based practices, Eliza explores themes of identity, consumption, and emotional experience. Her work often incorporates repurposed and everyday materials, investigating how meaning is constructed, transformed, and embedded within physical forms.
 

Ani Sarian

Ani Sarian is a visual artist participating in Murals in Motion as part of the Encore Terrace Summer Series

Born in Damascus, Syria, Ani Sarian is of Armenian descent. From an early age, she found solace inpainting, using art to express her inner thoughts and emotions. For Sarian, art serves as a  refuge- a safe space where she can process and understand the world around her.
Sarian studied at the Djemaran Academy in Aleppo from 1978-1980 and the Sarian Academy in 1981. in 2012, as the war in Syria escalated, Sarian and her family relocated to Canada (2016), seeking safety and stability. In this peaceful environment, Sarian has once again immersed herself in her creative practice.
 

Shane Wilcox

Visual Artist Shane Wilcox will participate in Murals in Motion on the Encore Terrace on June 12

Shane’s visionary artistic expression blends together an immersive world of multidimensional creation to enhance the energetic experience within space and time. Inspired by a balance of boldness and tranquility, his work highlights a deep connection with Nature, Self, and Community. Each piece evokes a profound flowstate, inviting viewers to step away from screens, free their minds, and become fully present in the here and now.
Shane delivers this magic across a diverse range of mediums, including large-scale custom murals, detailed portraiture, graphic design, and striking original works. All of his creations harmonize in full dedication with his life pARTner, Kimberly. Together, they operate as Studio SHIM
 

Mik Stevens

Mik Stevens a visual artist participating in Murals in Motion on the Encore Terrace on June 12.

Mik Stevens is a Mi’kmaq beadwork artist, screen printer, and graphic designer currently based in London. In 2019 Mik launched her creative outlet and business Flourish and Grow where she promotes art as a medium for expression and healing while sharing stories and connecting with others. 

In 2026 Mik launched her event series All The Queer Things that hosts alternative nostalgic spaces to honour youthful angst, individuality and unconventionality through a queer and
Indigenous perspective.
