The Encore Terrace Summer Series returns for 2026 with a lineup of relaxed, outdoor lunchtime events in the heart of downtown London. Taking place on select Fridays, each event brings a unique mix of live music, local food vendors, and community partners in a casual, welcoming setting.

What to Expect This Summer

Each event in the Encore Terrace Summer Series brings something a little different.

From live music and DJ sets to interactive art activations and community showcases, the terrace evolves throughout the season with new experiences to discover.

Take your lunch outside and enjoy an afternoon of live music, local food, and community on the Encore Terrace at RBC Place London.

Join us on Friday, June 26 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for the second event in our Encore Terrace Summer Series. Admission is free and all are welcome.

July 24 - Tails & Tunes w/ Second Chance Rescue

Take Your Lunch. Meet Your Best Friend.

Take your lunch outside and spend the afternoon with great music, local food, and some adorable four-legged friends.

Join us on Friday, July 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. for Tails & Tunes, the third event in the Encore Terrace Summer Series. Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

Presented in partnership with Second Chance Auction Animal Rescue (SCAAR), this special Doggy Meet & Greet gives guests the opportunity to meet 5–10 adoptable puppies and adult dogs while learning more about SCAAR's rescue and adoption program. Adoption applications will be available on site, although no adoptions will take place during the event.

Downtown London and other community partners will also be on site with activities, information, and giveaways, making this a fun afternoon for animal lovers, downtown workers, families, and anyone looking to enjoy summer on the Encore Terrace.

If you're thinking about adopting, hoping to support a local rescue, or looking for a unique way to spend your lunch break, Tails & Tunes is the perfect place to relax, connect, and maybe even meet your new best friend.

DJ Aaron Winter will set the vibe at Tails & Tunes on July 24th.

Omri Kash, a solo artist-producer with a close-knit band will join us at Tails & Tunes on July 17 to and keep guests bopping with memorable, catchy and undeniably danceable music.

Food Vendors:

Laya MNL will serve delicious iced Matcha Drinks at Tails & Tunes, our third Encore Terrace Summer Series Event on July 17.

Unique Choice Catering will serve up delicious food at Tails & Tunes on the Encore Terrace July 17.

Ceylonese Junction, a local Sri Lankan eatery serving authentic street food like hoppers and kottu will join us at Tails & Tunes on July 17.

The Encore Terrace Summer Series Presents: Class Act

Join us for a free lunchtime celebration of live music, local food and theatre for our fourth event in the Encore Terrace Summer Series.

The Grand Theatre's 2026 High School Project Production of School or Rock. Class Act event will feature an exclusive pop-up preview performance on the Encore Terrace on August 21.

Enjoy an exclusive pop-up preview performance from the cast of the Grand Theatre High School Project's 2026 production of School of Rock before the show opens on the Spriet Stage this September. Plus, stick around for live music, delicious local food vendors, a mini artisan market, and the return of DJ Zahra, spinning music throughout the afternoon.

Downtown London and other community partners will also be on site with activities, information, and giveaways as well.

If you're taking a lunch break, meeting friends downtown, or looking for something fun to do, the Encore Terrace is the perfect place to spend your afternoon.

Admission is free and everyone is welcome.

About School of Rock

The Grand Theatre High School Project's 2026 production of School of Rock runs September 22 – October 3 on the Spriet Stage.

Based on the hit 2003 film, School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a struggling rock musician who poses as a substitute teacher and discovers an unlikely group of talented students ready to become the ultimate rock band. Featuring favourite songs from the film alongside new music by Andrew Lloyd Webber, the show celebrates music, friendship, and finding your voice.

About the Grand Theatre High School Project

For more than 25 years, the Grand Theatre High School Project has given London-area students the opportunity to work alongside professional theatre artists in every aspect of a mainstage production.

From acting and music to wardrobe, props, lighting, sound, scenic arts, stage management and marketing, students gain hands-on experience while creating a fully realized production on the Grand Theatre's Spriet Stage.
