London police chief's gala raised $238K for non-profits
The London Free Press - March 20, 2025 - The first London police chief’s gala raised more than $200,000 for a pair of local non-profits and will become an annual event, London police say.
About 1,200 people packed RBC Place London, the city’s convention centre, on Jan. 29 for the sold-out gathering that featured an awards ceremony and VIP reception.
The black-tie event brought in $238,048 for Youth Opportunities Unlimited and the Canadian Mental Health Association Thames Valley, says a report tabled at a London police board meeting Thursday.
